ARIIX was born from the vision of six leading minds in business and nutritional science who wanted to create a unique company based on the “golden rule” of helping others as they help you.
The name, ARIIX, comes from combining the Latin word Aurum, meaning gold, with “IIX,” similar to the Roman numeral for “8″. Rotating the 8 gives you the ‘Infinity’ symbol which you can see reflected in our logo. So, when put together, the name means “eternal wealth”, and it symbolizes our effort to set the “gold standard”
for excellence in our products and our company as a whole.

Fred Cooper is one of the world’s foremost experts in the managing of direct selling companies, emerging as a respected leader who has a knack for spotting inefficiency and then fixing it. Fred is also known for his fun, energetic personality and passion for helping people. He truly cares about his employees and representatives, and takes a personal interest in the success of each one. This is evidenced by his many devoted friends and associates, who have seen their life positively impacted by his unique style of guidance and support.
Fred has spent the last 13 years of his career at USANA Health Sciences, where he rose quickly through the ranks from VP of Information Technology to VP of Operations, and then to Chief Operations Officer, and finally to President of the company. Fred has been able to improve and streamline every process he has been involved with at USANA and has helped to make them one of the most successful health science companies in the world.
Among other achievements, he helped found iCentris Inc. (Woods Cross, Utah) after recognizing a need for better software systems in the direct selling industry. iCentris is currently a leader in direct selling software, with clients who include some the of largest direct selling companies in the world. Most recently, he took ownership of BioLab, Inc., whose clinical trials on their unique immunostimulant formula have shown profound effects in slowing and even reversing the damage caused by degenerative diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis.
Fred has also shared his expertise in business by teaching as a professor at the University of Utah, and he is an original founder of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Utah. He has a wife, Jennifer, and 4 growing sons. Fred enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family and traveling the globe meeting new people.
An entrepreneur at heart, Mark started his first business at age 20, and realized the amazing freedom it allowed him to determine his success as an owner versus being an employee. His love for people and his passion for teaching others to unlock their entrepreneurial spirit is the reason he is such as fan of network marketing. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the direct selling industry, overseeing every aspect of partnering with the independent business owners.
After using his expertise to generate millions of dollars in increased business during his tenure at two separate companies, Mark learned the importance of forging a strong partnership between management and independent business owners, making sure that the needs of the entrepreneurs always come first. Mark’s unique in-depth knowledge of direct sales comes from traveling extensively throughout the world in a role as the liaison between management and top field leaders where he learned that trust can’t be forced and that the success and happiness of the entrepreneurs is what keeps a business thriving.
Mark and his wife of 25 years, Tracie, love spending time with their 5 children doing active things such as snowmobiling, riding ATVs, horseback riding, hiking, boating at Lake Powell or just trimming trees on their 120 acre mountain ranch.
Riley knows that often it only takes a little boost to help someone elevate their life from good to great. As Chief Operating Officer of ARIIX, Riley blends a decade of corporate financial leadership experience with a forward-thinking global vision to ensure that ARIIX is a valued resource for those in search of taking their health and life from good to amazing.
As Riley leads ARIIX’s international expansion efforts, working with people and companies from around the world, he finds great satisfaction in learning about the cultures, background and history of our diverse world. Riley’s talent for understanding his customers and his passion for getting what they need directly to them is a crucial part of what makes the ARIIX leadership team and their shared vision stand out. By weaving together the best that nature has to offer to support health and wellness, Riley feels lucky that he is able to do what he loves best – helping others enrich their lives.
Hard work and dedication are essential values Riley lives his life by, thanks to a father who taught him the benefits of “getting things done and done right” on the family farm, rising early on weekends to tackle chores and projects while other kids his age were sleeping in. It is these principles that Riley draws upon as he maintains unrivaled quality in all of ARIIX’s operations while also ensuring that company representatives and customers know that they are the valued foundation essential to ARIIX’s success.
Riley holds a degree in economics from the University of Utah and has worked in corporate finance, investor relations and international expansion leadership roles for the last decade. When it comes to personal time, Riley invests it right back into his family, as a youth sports coach, official dance recital cinematographer and go-to guy for scary math homework problems. He and his wife Tiffany have four children and live in South Jordan, Utah.
Deanna Latson has been involved in the field of health and wellness since 1999 and has served as a consultant, spokesperson, writer and guest lecturer for some of the largest colleges, universities and corporations in the world. Her clients include over 400 college and universities, corporations such as Smart Water, Pepsi Co. International, the American Heart Association and AT&T.
Deanna has been an NCAA grant-approved speaker for over 7 years, speaking to college sports teams about their health and wellbeing. She also has been a sought-after motivational speaker in the field of health and wellness for over a decade.
As a master communicator, Deanna serves as the liaison between the ARIIX scientific advisory board and the field. She is living proof that it is possible to completely transform one’s own life through proper education and nutrition. During college, both Deanna’s parents became ill with life-threatening diseases, a situation that spurred Deanna’s own impetus to change her focus towards nutrition, especially because she had battled with an eating disorder for 11 years as well as numerous other health problems that had plagued her throughout her life. It was after her parents had an amazing transformation in their health, and after Deanna herself healed her own body through wholistic means, that she decided to combine her two passions and apply her speaking talents to the topic of health and wellness. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a special emphasis on organizational communication and a Master’s degree in communication studies with a special emphasis on health communications. Deanna also received her Clinical Nutritionist degree from the Natural Healing Institute. Over the past 16 years, Deanna has been dedicated to research and development in the field of natural health and well being.
Deanna most looks forward to bringing some of the greatest minds in medicine on board the ARIIX team. Since 1999, she has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some of the most influential people in the health and wellness field and it is those vital connections that will further benefit the ARIIX community.
Deanna and her husband of 12 years, Patrick, have 2 children and love to take spontaneous adventures all over the world. If you asked this family what their ideal vacation looks like, it would be a trip across the county in an RV with friends.
Jeff brings to ARIIX a vast breadth of experience and leadership gained from owning his own company and from serving as an executive in both public and private companies. He began his career by starting a sporting goods company with retail stores throughout Utah. He worked for several years with the public accounting firm of PriceWaterhouse consulting with many of their premier clients throughout the United States. He was the Chief Financial Officer for Franklin Covey Stores in Salt Lake City with accountability for 185 stores in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He was also the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Deseret Book, and later served as the CFO of USANA Health Sciences with responsibility for the company’s global financial performance.
Jeff is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University, one of the highest ranked accounting schools in the world. He brings more than 24 years of financial and accounting leadership experience to ARIIX and is responsible for the Company’s financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations and human resources. To Jeff, the most fulfilling part of his role at ARIIX is associating with our Representatives throughout the world; nothing brings him greater enjoyment than seeing their success. He and Shannon, his wife of 26 years, have five children, all of whom love the outdoors, boating at Lake Powell, skiing in the beautiful mountains of Utah and entertaining friends.
